Zitat:Things have changed since my last visit several years ago, but still very weird and wonderful experiences. Casablanca is expensive and backward in many regards. The beach area known as the corniche has changed dramatically since my last visit and is almost unrecognisable. However, my hotel Club Val D anfer lets girls in for 350 Dirham which is a great improvement, if you like staying in hotels like I do. I opted for a sea view room in the new wing which is much better but more expensive.
The villiage disco is popular but the girls are expensive and are good at spending your money, giving generous tips to everyone they know, this is very common in arabic society, so understand this first. My first night cost me 6,000 Dirhams. The Balcon is more reasonable in prices and girls are not so much the Morrocan princess, tipping everyone.
Caesar Disco at the Sheraton has many girls but the police monitor everyone coming out of the club and watch when men get into the same txi as the girls, watch for the shakedown, it cost me another 200 Dirhams.
Also, watch out for the taxi drivers as they try to scam you by switching notes, example if you give them 200 they will switch with a 20 and say you made a mistake. Although, not all are so dishonest as the ones that wait outside the Sheraton.
Casablanca is expensive, different and fun, enjoy if you can afford too!
