I've been away and missed the discussion about the big argument, so some of this may have been covered here already. Sorry for any duplication.

The day afterwards I was with one of my favourite girls. I oughtn't to specify precisely which one perhaps, but she is one of the Bulgarian crew and a long-time reg of mine. She was at the centre of the incident. This is what she told me :-

Two Russians mafiosi types had block booked the VIP quarters for 7 or 8 hours. Two girls were already upstairs and she was invited to join the party, partly because of her Russian language skills. One of the Russkies was with 2 girls. She attended to the second on her own. She was with him for 5 hours and her charges came to 650 Euros. She reminded him at various points of the charges that he was running up and he claimed to be aware. Come closing time, her guy had handed over to management 3000 euros in room and champagne costs and the other Russkie produced a similar sum. Then the trouble started. Nobody wanted to pay the girls for their time, claiming that they had paid enough money and that the sex should not be chargeable on top of the VIP / champers bill. A huge row developed. Both the punters were smashed on champagne and got nasty. A security guy got shot in the melee and they took off without paying the girls. Perhaps the other girls got their money, I'm not sure, but the Bulgarian got stiffed for her 650E and was distraught about it, poor lass.

I am surprised that the management at Artemis allowed her to get fucked like this. They got thousands from the Russians. It really wouldn't have been a terrible thing if they'd compensated her for her loss by perhaps giving her a few hundred to ease the pain (perhaps 50 per cent of her entitlement?). They'd have still made a tidy sum from the Russians and she would at least have had a decent night if not a spectacular one. Instead she was stll in tears about it 2 days later.

Nasty business.
